Our favorite I-Can’t-Believe-Y’all-Re-elected-Her Congresswoman Michele Bachmann went on Hannity & Colmes the other day.
Alan Colmes read back her exact quote from when she was on MSNBC saying the media should investigate members of Congress and find out who’s pro- and anti-America.
She denied — twice — that that wasn’t actually what she said.
BACHMANN: Actually that’s not [what] I said. It’s an urban legend that was created. That isn’t what I said at all.
One more time and a rooster would’ve crowed and Jesus would’ve died again. Or an alligator swam up from the toilet and ate her.

I LOVE when politicians respond to stupid things they’ve said or done ON CAMERA by saying “Umm . . . DID NOT!”
But… “urban legend”? Really?
I don’t think she came up with that on her own. Some staffer put it in her head.
She would be better off just apologizing for her stupid comments; people continue to confront her on it because she loves to deny it ever happened. If she’s weak minded enough to let an interviewer “trap” her, then she shouldn’t be speaking on behalf of CD6, let alone Minnesota. She never met a camera she didn’t want to be in front of, and the media knows this. As a result she’s the crazy face of our “Crazier than you think” state.
I read through a lot of that transcript and she has a concern over Eric Holder’s pardon of Marc Rich even though he later admitted it to being a mistake, and said if he knew then what he knew now, he wouldn’t have done the same thing. But his admission of making the wrong choice doesn’t redeem him in her eyes.
So, Michele, wouldn’t writing a pardon request on behalf of Frank Vennes Jr raise the same concerns, regardless of the fact that it was later rescinded?
Michele Bachmann lives on planet Michele Bachmann, and I hope that the residents of CD6 begin to follow her more closely and get her ass out of public office in the next round. I can’t believe they’ve allowed this lying stooge with no self awareness two more years to represent Minnesota.
Preach, Ang!
I had to look up the Frank Vennes, Jr thing. Holy shnikeys!

[...] That’s a much better urban legend than Michele Bachmann. [...]
