Amy Rea went downtown to enjoy some holiday cheer and festive atmosphere and came away with a hilarious photoessay on Minnesota’s official Christmas tree.
Little Rice Park, home to much seating and various pieces of artwork and occasional festivals, and home also to the grand Christmas tree put up by the city each year, always a huge, impressive tree to fit in with the splendor of the surroundings.
But this year, I think the homage was not to the surroundings, but to Charlie Brown.
Heh!
(BTW, did you know Amy’s got a book out? Minnesota, Land of 10,000 Lakes: An Explorer’s Guide (Explorer’s Guides) would make a great gift.)
