Here’s today’s weather advisory for the region from NOAA:

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST TUESDAY…

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DULUTH HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW…WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST TUESDAY.

SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 2 TO 5 INCHES IS EXPECTED TODAY THROUGH TONIGHT ACROSS PINE AND BURNETT COUNTIES.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND REDUCED VISIBILITY…AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING. ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION.

Y’all saw what kind of slow down a couple inches of snow has produced over the last few days. If you’re not already subscribed to email or SMS alerts, you’ll want to do that or pick up the myspace or facebook pages.

They’re also taking video submissions for snow emergency alerts. If your video is awesome, they’ll show it on the teevee.
