Hockey and Flowers for All!

Today we went to the Winter Carnival Orchid Show. I advise you all to attend as it’s totally awesome. There are beautiful orchids in every room and those of you that have been to the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory know how great the humidity feels during the winter, not to mention the amazing various fauna.
You only have one more day. You’d better go!

m Hundreds of orchid plants owned by individual and commercial orchid growers transform the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory into a tropical wonderland where instead of King Boreas, orchids rule during the Orchid Society of Minnesota’s Winter Carnival Orchid Show. Special admission rates apply: $5.00 for Adults, $3.00 for Children 3-12, Under 3 FREE. Save $1.00 with Winter Carnival Button (one discount per button)

I know Erica mentioned getting out and going to the Pond Hockey tournament so I thought I’d post my video from last weekend at Lake Phalen for Hockey Day Minnesota.

Did anyone go see some pond hockey? Attend the Orchid Show? The weekend is still half full, what have you got going on?

    If you happen to miss or liked the Orchid show at the Conservatory, many of the Orchids will be moving to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum for a show next month …
