  • Twin Cities School Notebook is written by James Sanna, who frequently contributes to the Twin Cities Daily Planet on education issues (amongst other things). I may read more of his stories at the TCDP than anyone else and I don’t even have kids in school.
  • HealthTechnica’s tagline is “Patients First, Technology First.” What a fascinating subject! And well-covered here. They’ve posted all sorts of topics and resources. They’ve got special sections on green health and women’s health. They’ve got audio and video and a downloads page that includes some crazy awesome little app for clinical image tagging. HealthTechnica’s CEO, Shawn Riley, has a long history with IBM and the Mayo Clinic. Super frickin’ cool. (The HealthTechnica front page is all flash, so if that kind of thing pisses you off, stick to the blog page. That’s where all the good stuff is anyway, IMO.)
  • According to TweetCongress.org, Minnesota’s only tweeting congresspersons are Keith Ellison and Crazy Michele Bachmann.
  • Midwest Broadcast is “Global Hip-Hop Commentary with a Minnesota State of Mind.” Covers albums, concerts, interviews, news, etc. Tons of good information and opinion here. [twitter: @MWBroadcast] [myspace] [facebook] [youtube] [last.fm]
  • TwinCitiesRadio.net is… Twin Cities radio on the net. They broadcast local/indie artists live on the web. They’ve got a new series for this year at Corner Coffee. See what’s coming up and show up or tune in. I caught Brianna Lane not too long ago. It’s a cool enough concept that I will forgive the neon color scheme and egregious use of Comic Sans. [myspace]
  • According to their manifesto, Twin Six is “two designers who love to ride and believe that the time is overdue for better cycling jersey graphics.” A couple of local folks who are opposed to the concept of riding gear as billboard and believe your jersey can actually be fashionable? Sign me up. They have tons of gear beyond jerseys, all of which is widely available locally and in plenty of places across the country and online so your friends can buy, too.
