Access Denied: Conversations about Racism in our GLBT Communities

This is way last minute — it’s tonight! — but it’s gonna be a fantastic event and definitely worth checking out if you’re interested and available. I had the opportunity to meet Mandy Carter on Friday night. She’s a phenomenal and totally super nice and cool woman.

Free and open to the public!

Join Mandy Carter and Heather Hackman for an evening of real conversations about how race and racism shape our Minnesota LGBTQ communities. Space will be created to hear and honor voices — past and present — of people of color, to allow white folks to explore white culture and privilege, and to speak honestly about building a social justice movement that truly works for the liberation of all our communities.

Please contact OutFront Minnesota Community Organizer Kelly Lewis to RSVP at 612-822-0127 ext. 110 or klewis@outfront.org.

Free and open to the public!
