Moving Marriage Equality Forward in Minnesota – Advice from Mandy Carter

Saurday, October 10th – 3:00-5:00pm
Minneapolis Urban League – 2220 16th Ave N, Minneapolis
[facebook event]

This should be a really interesting event. I know marriage equality is not the be all and end all of civil rights issues for anyone, but I think this will be a really good discussion for three reasons.

  1. The path to marriage equality is different from state to state depending on their respective constitutions and existing laws, so it’ll be good to shed some light on the specifics of the situation in our own state.
  2. Minnesota has this weird political environment where you often times can’t tell which way the population is going to swing on an issue.
  3. Mandy Carter is awesome.
